OnAirFlow

The rundown tool for daily live news shows. Browser-based, real-time, ~90% less than an iNews contract.

About · The origin

Built for the producers who count seconds.

OnAirFlow was built because a 2-hour daily news show needed a rundown tool and the only options were a six-figure NRCS contract or a Google Doc. Neither was a real option. So we built the thing in between — modern, browser-based, priced per show instead of per enterprise contract, shaped daily by the team that uses it to go live.

Section 01 · Mission

The rundown tool daily news producers deserve — at a price that doesn't require a capex proposal.

Live news is hard. The tooling shouldn't be. OnAirFlow brings the entire daily workflow into one real-time workspace — pitched stories, rundown blocks, AI-drafted host notes (with your own key), teleprompter, flash messages, and archive — so the team can focus on the show, not the software.

We are not trying to replace iNews. We are trying to make sure the thousand daily news shows that iNews was never priced for don't have to run their rundown off a spreadsheet.

Section 02 · Principles

How we build, in five lines.

01

Shaped by real shows.

Every feature we ship came from a producer asking for it while prepping a live show. Not from a competitor’s feature list.

02

Price on the page.

Pricing is published. No "contact sales" for tiers under a newsroom. We’d rather lose the lead than waste their time.

03

Bring your own AI key.

We don’t markup AI. Plug in your Anthropic or OpenAI key. Keeps host-note generation unlimited and costs transparent.

04

Honest about scope.

We are rundown software. We are not an NRCS. We don’t do wire ingest or MOS — and we say so on the compare page.

05

Your data exits with you.

PDF, Word, Markdown export any time. Cancel and your data is yours. Export your rundown every Friday if you want to.

"OnAirFlow is the first piece of software our newsroom has adopted where the team said ‘yes, this’ within the first week."
