Billing & plans

Choose a plan, manage your subscription, and understand the trial, seat limits, and feature gating.

OnAirFlow has three plans — Creator, Studio, and Newsroom — billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Every new organization starts with a 7-day free trial, no credit card required. Billing is managed by admins from Settings, under Billing in the Account group.

Price (monthly)$19/mo$59/mo$149/mo
Price (annual)$16/mo$49/mo$124/mo

All plans include the rundown board, live show control, flash messaging, the teleprompter, real-time collaboration, exports (Markdown, PDF, DOCX), connecting your own AI assistant, and AI agent access via API and MCP — agents never count toward seats.

Plan-gated features:

  • Templates and auto-scheduled shows — Studio and Newsroom.
  • Analytics — basic on Studio; advanced with export on Newsroom.
  • Custom domain — Newsroom only.
  • Custom role permissions — Newsroom only (see Team, roles & permissions).
  • Managed storage cap — 1 GB on Creator, 10 GB on Studio, unlimited on Newsroom (see Storage & attachments).

Annual billing gives you two months free. Nonprofits get 30 percent off; for campus stations, enterprise needs, or the nonprofit discount, contact sales@onairflow.com.

The free trial

Your trial runs for 7 days with no card on file. During the trial you get the Studio seat allowance, so you can invite a small team before committing. If the trial ends before you pick a plan, your account is locked but your data is preserved for 30 days — subscribe to pick up where you left off.

Subscribe to a plan

You need the admin role for this.

  1. Go to Settings, then open Billing under Account.
  2. Choose Monthly or Annual with the interval toggle.
  3. Click Select Plan on the plan you want. You are taken to Stripe checkout to enter payment details.
  4. After payment you return to OnAirFlow with a confirmation that your subscription is active. If you cancel checkout, nothing is charged.

Manage your subscription

The Billing page shows your current plan, its status (Trial, Active, Past Due, Canceled), and your next billing date or trial end date.

  • Change plans — pick a different plan from the same page at any time. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and billing is prorated.
  • Manage Billing — on Studio and Newsroom, this button opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can update your payment method and manage the subscription.
  • Cancel — you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. The Billing page shows the cancellation date once scheduled. Cancelling stops the renewal; it does not refund unused time in a period that has already started.
  • Past due payments — if a payment fails, your plan shows Past Due and you keep access while Stripe retries; update your payment method to avoid interruption. If the subscription ultimately ends, the account locks until you resubscribe.

When you hit a plan limit

If an action would exceed a plan limit — for example, adding a sixth teammate on Studio — the app blocks it with a message telling you the limit and suggesting an upgrade. Only human accounts count toward seat limits; agents are always free.

Your data

Under Settings, Data & Privacy (in the Account group) lets admins export organization data in JSON or CSV, submit an account deletion request (deletion is scheduled, with a window to cancel), and manage consent preferences. Data retention for event logs and analytics also varies by plan.
